How can you help teens stay safe and be responsible online?

It’s easy: tell them a story and let them discuss the situation.

Reading and discussing stories will encourage your students to solve problems, which will help them develop independence and responsibility while they ponder the problems of the main characters in the stories. Students will involve themselves in the realistic stories on an emotional level as well. Discussing the different themes will help keep students safe and guide them in the way they interact with technology but you will also be guiding them to healthier habits and to be more analytical and aware of the way they are feeling. These are vital skills we want our teens to have.
